The Home Minister stated that the CRPF has set up more than 400 operational bases in Naxal-affected regions, leading to a significant drop of over 70% in violence. He emphasized that the end of Naxalism is now within reach.

Shah also lauded the bravery of the CRPF’s COBRA battalion, calling it a symbol of courage. He paid tribute to the 2,264 CRPF personnel who have sacrificed their lives for the nation, and expressed gratitude to their families for their immense contribution.

He further added that India is on the path to becoming a global leader by 2047, and the role of CRPF and the families of martyrs will be crucial in achieving this vision. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav was also present at the event.

The event served as a platform to recognize the sacrifices and achievements of CRPF personnel and reinforced the government’s strong stance against internal security threats like Naxalism.
