Amidst the relentless grip of a scorching heatwave, tragedy struck in the serene vicinity of Mota Singh Nagar park adjacent to the local main bus stand. The tranquility of the park was shattered when a passerby stumbled upon the lifeless body of an individual and promptly alerted the authorities. Responding swiftly, police personnel arrived at the scene to secure the area and commence investigations into the grim discovery.
According to the in-charge of the bus stand police station, extensive inquiries regarding the deceased’s identity have yielded no results thus far, leaving the authorities grappling with an unresolved mystery. Initial observations suggest the possibility of the unfortunate demise being heat-related, although conclusive findings await the outcome of the impending post-mortem examination.
As per protocol, the unidentified body has been entrusted to the custody of the civil hospital mortuary, where it awaits identification within a stipulated 72-hour window. In the event of unmet identification, authorities will proceed with conducting a thorough post-mortem to ascertain the cause of death.
