Jammu, September 3
Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday arrested a couple from Punjab in Udhampur district for carrying 7kg of heroin.
Addressing reporters, Jammu ADGP Mukesh Singh said Lovepreet Singh and Mandeep Kaur from Ram Tirth Road in Amritsar were carrying the drug in their car when they were arrested in Udhampur.
They are inter-state drug smugglers and a case had been registered against them, the ADGP said. IANS
