After the Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted raids at several locations linked to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha member Sanjeev Arora, party convener Arvind Kejriwal has released a statement defending his party. Kejriwal expressed confidence, saying that God is with AAP and no one has done anything wrong. He emphasized that there is no need for fear and accused the BJP-led central government of using investigative agencies to target AAP in the name of fighting corruption.
Speaking at a press conference, the former Delhi chief minister said that he, along with Manish Sisodia, Sanjay Singh, and other AAP leaders, had previously been arrested by these agencies. Kejriwal suggested that the Prime Minister is using all available resources to go after AAP and eliminate the party and its leadership. The ED, on Monday, conducted raids in multiple locations, including Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Gurugram, and Delhi, in connection with a land fraud case involving Arora and others. Sources said that searches were carried out at around 16-17 places, including the 61-year-old MP’s residence in Ludhiana, Punjab, and Gurugram, Haryana, as part of the ongoing investigation.
