Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal claimed today that his party has significantly improved the lives of Delhi’s residents over the past decade. He argued that no other political party in India has matched AAP’s achievements in delivering public benefits like affordable electricity, quality health services, education, and free bus rides for women.
Kejriwal warned voters that if the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) comes to power in Delhi, these crucial public schemes could be discontinued. In preparation for the upcoming assembly elections in February, Kejriwal is conducting a foot march across the city, urging citizens to support AAP and reject the BJP. He further promised to address the issue of increased water bills by waiving them off if re-elected, calling on the public to help him serve as Chief Minister once again.
Several senior AAP leaders, including Chief Minister Atishi, former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, and Sanjay Singh, joined Kejriwal on the walk. The gathering illustrated AAP’s united front as it reaches out to voters ahead of the upcoming election.
