A fire broke out in the engine of a train today in Ratlam district, Madhya Pradesh, causing an immediate halt and evacuation of all passengers. Fortunately, there were no injuries or casualties reported in the incident. According to Khemraj Meena, Public Relations Officer for Western Railway, the fire occurred around 5:30 PM between Runija and Naugaon stations while the train was en route from Dr. Ambedkar Nagar (Mahu) station to Ratlam.
Railway staff acted quickly to contain the fire, ensuring the safety of all passengers on board. Emergency response teams were dispatched to the scene, and the fire was brought under control swiftly, minimizing any potential damage. Officials arrived promptly, and an investigation into the cause of the fire has been initiated to understand the incident better and implement preventive measures for the future.
