Tihar Jail officials have granted Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann permission to meet Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal like any other visitor in the meeting area. This decision comes after Mann’s formal request to the Tihar Jail administration for a meeting with Kejriwal.
The meeting will take place in the designated meeting jungle, where a sturdy iron net separates the prisoner from the visitor. Both parties can converse face to face while seated on either side of the grill, ensuring a semblance of normalcy in their interaction.
This development marks a significant step in facilitating communication between the two prominent political figures. It underscores Tihar Jail’s adherence to protocols while accommodating requests for meetings between inmates and authorized visitors.
As Bhagwant Mann prepares to engage with Arvind Kejriwal, the meeting holds the potential for discussions on political matters and strategic collaborations between the two leaders. The arrangement reflects Tihar Jail’s commitment to facilitating lawful interactions while upholding security measures within the correctional facility.
