Since around 4 a.m. today, continuous rainfall has lashed Ludhiana, creating severe problems for residents. Waterlogging in streets and main roads delayed people from reaching their workplaces. Vehicles moved slowly, and some residents had to walk through knee-deep water.
The water level in areas near Buddha Dariya started rising due to the heavy rain, increasing the risk of flooding in low-lying neighborhoods. In many houses, rainwater entered inside, damaging household goods and causing distress to families.
