Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat described India as a “Hindu Rashtra” during a function in Bars, Rajasthan. Bhagwat emphasized that the Hindu society must overcome disputes related to language, caste, and regional differences to achieve unity and ensure its security.

He highlighted the inclusive nature of Hindus, stating, “Hindus consider everyone as their own and have been living here since ancient times.” Bhagwat explained that the term “Hindu” may have come later, but the spirit of unity and embracing all has always been present. Hindus live harmoniously through constant dialogue and mutual understanding, he said.

Bhagwat further urged the community to come together, noting that a true society isn’t just about individuals and families, but involves thinking about broader concerns that bring spiritual satisfaction. He said the functioning of the RSS is not merely mechanical but is deeply rooted in its ideology and values.

Bhagwat’s remarks were aimed at promoting unity and inclusivity among the Hindu society while addressing the challenges of regional, linguistic, and caste-based divisions. His call for unity reflects a vision of social harmony and collective security for the Hindu community.
