Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi has claimed a serious case of voter list fraud in the Mahadevapura assembly segment of Karnataka. Speaking to the media on Thursday, he accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of benefiting from large-scale tampering in voter data. Gandhi presented evidence under the title “Vote Theft,” stating that it took six months to gather proof of election fraud.

He said that in one address, up to 50 voters were listed, and in many cases, the names were identical but the photos were different. Gandhi highlighted that over 1,00,250 fake votes were found in the Mahadevapura region alone. He also accused the Election Commission of not providing machine-readable voter list data, which he believes is a tactic to hide the manipulation.

According to him, BJP won only one out of seven assembly seats in Bangalore Central, but received an unusually high number of votes in Mahadevapura. Gandhi raised concerns about the safety of the “One person, one vote” principle in India.

He also questioned the sudden rise of one crore new voters in Maharashtra within five months and accused the Election Commission of working in alliance with BJP.
