Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, has strongly criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over the issue of reservation. He accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of being unwilling to address the topic of a caste census, which Gandhi believes is crucial for ensuring justice for marginalized communities, including Bahujans. According to Rahul Gandhi, the BJP is trying to spread false information to harm the reservation system, but the Congress party will not allow this.
He reiterated that the current 50 percent limit on reservations should be removed and promised that his party would fight for the rights of every community. Speaking on social media platform X, Rahul Gandhi declared that conducting a caste census and using its results to shape future policies was vital to achieving justice for all. He emphasized that his mission is to ensure that every group gets its fair share and rights.
The BJP has been attacking Rahul Gandhi, particularly over statements he made while in America, but Gandhi remains steadfast in his demand for a caste-based census to bring about meaningful change.
