Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi targeted the BJP government on the issue of unemployment in Haryana, expressing concern about the dire conditions faced by the youth. During a meeting with Haryana youths in America, shared on social media platform ‘X’, Gandhi criticized the BJP for forcing young people to leave the country due to a lack of employment opportunities.

In the video, several Haryana youths revealed that they had to migrate to America, where they faced immense difficulties due to unemployment in their home state. Rahul Gandhi referred to this situation as a “huge injustice,” claiming that the BJP government has failed the youth by depriving them of job opportunities. He noted that this situation has forced many young people to embark on dangerous journeys abroad, risking their lives for a better future.

Using the term “donkeys,” Gandhi alluded to the popular term “donkey flights,” which refers to illegal migration to western countries under hazardous conditions. The Congress leader promised that, under a Congress-led government, such a structure would be created that would ensure the youth could realize their dreams without leaving their homeland.

He also mentioned that this issue of migration was highlighted in the Bollywood film Dunky, directed by Rajkumar Hirani and starring Shah Rukh Khan, which addressed the same issue of dangerous migrations due to unemployment.

In his post, Gandhi emphasized that lakhs of families in Haryana are suffering due to the “unemployment disease” spread by the BJP and vowed to correct this if Congress comes into power in the state.
