Amidst a flurry of political activity, Punjab Congress president Raja Waring embarked on a roadshow in Ludhiana, marking the commencement of his election campaign just three days after receiving the party’s nomination for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The roadshow kicked off from Samrala Chowk, with Raja Waring accompanied by his wife, garnering enthusiastic support along the route.
Notable figures such as Surinder Dabar and Sanjay Talwar joined Raja Waring at the outset of the roadshow, igniting fervor among supporters. However, the absence of Punjab Congress working president and former minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu raised eyebrows, reportedly stemming from his discontent over not securing a ticket.
The roadshow traversed the bustling streets of Ludhiana, spanning from Samrala Chowk to Baba Than Singh Chowk via Ferozepur Road and Jagraon Bridge, drawing attention and curiosity from onlookers. Despite internal party dynamics, Raja Waring’s energetic campaign kick-off signifies the beginning of intense political engagement in the region, with the spotlight firmly fixed on the upcoming electoral battle.
