Congress General Secretary, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, alleging a departure from moral principles and manipulation of public perception. Addressing a public gathering, she criticized the Prime Minister for allegedly suppressing opposition voices, freezing bank accounts, and incarcerating two chief ministers.
Vadra lamented the decline of moral integrity in the country’s leadership, contrasting it with the expectations of truthfulness from elected officials. She accused the Prime Minister of prioritizing displays of power and popularity over adherence to truth.
Drawing attention to the canceled election bond scheme, Vadra alleged that companies raided by authorities had donated to the BJP, resulting in the closure of ongoing cases against them. She insinuated that demonetization facilitated the laundering of black money into BJP coffers. Vadra questioned the source of massive donations to the BJP from companies unable to earn substantial profits.
The Congress leader asserted that while the opposition is branded as corrupt, the BJP’s actions over the past decade demonstrate its true nature. Vadra urged the public to remain vigilant and promised change.
Vadra’s accusations highlight the ongoing political tensions in India, underscoring the rift between the ruling party and the opposition, while also emphasizing the importance of transparency and accountability in governance.
