In a heart-wrenching incident, a 10-year-old migrant child tragically took his own life by hanging himself at Virak Khurd (Karkandi) village of Ferozepur. The devastating reason behind the act is believed to be a broken mobile phone. The child, hailing from village Araianwala, had been residing with his mother while his father resides in Madhya Pradesh.
According to Police the deceased, identified as Karan , was found in the village Araiwala. Upon receiving the distressing news, authorities swiftly responded, reaching the scene and securing the child’s body. Further investigations are underway.
The local police have assured that necessary procedures, including post-mortem examinations, will be conducted, and the body will be handed over to the bereaved family. This tragic incident sheds light on the psychological toll and vulnerabilities faced by young migrants, underscoring the need for greater support and intervention to safeguard their well-being.
