New Delhi, August 27
The police have denied permission to organisers to hold a show of stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui here, fearing threat to communal harmony following a letter by the VHP requesting them to cancel the Sunday’s event.
DCP, Central District Police, Shweta Chauhan confirmed the show had been cancelled keeping security reasons in mind.
