In a tragic incident that shook Pandori Gola village in September 2019, a massive explosion claimed the lives of two individuals, leaving another severely injured. Following rigorous investigations by the National Investigation Agency (NIA), the special court in Mohali has issued orders to attach the land of Gurjant Singh, a key suspect in the bomb blast.

The NIA, taking charge of the entire investigation, filed a charge sheet against nine individuals, accusing them of orchestrating the terrorist plot. Among those named were Bikramjit Singh, Massa Singh, Harjit Singh, Gurjant Singh (who lost his eyesight in the blast), and Manpreet Singh from Tarn Taran. Additionally, Chandeep Singh from Gurdaspur, Malkit Singh, and Amarjit Singh from Amritsar, along with a minor, were implicated in the case.

NIA’s Swift Action:
On January 15, the NIA, under the provisions of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) Section 33(1), issued orders through the special court in Mohali to attach Gurjant Singh’s property. The accused, residing in Bachde village, Tarn Taran, now faces the forfeiture of his 2 kanals and 4 marlas of land. It’s noteworthy that Gurjant Singh suffered permanent loss of eyesight due to the explosion.

Investigation Unraveling:
The NIA, known for its meticulous approach, continues its in-depth investigation into the circumstances surrounding the bomb blast. The charge sheet already highlights the alleged involvement of the accused, shedding light on the tragic events that unfolded in Pandori Gola.
