In a significant move, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has declared that the state government will provide Rs 1500 per month to women aged 18 to 60 starting from the upcoming financial year. This commitment was a pivotal part of the ’10 guarantees’ outlined by the Congress before the assembly elections, and the government has successfully fulfilled five of these promises.
Addressing the press, Chief Minister Sukhu highlighted the administration’s commitment to its electoral pledges, emphasizing the positive impact on 1.36 lakh state employees through the reinstatement of the old pension scheme.
