Prime Minister Narendra Modi intensified the political heat ahead of the impending Lok Sabha elections with a fervent address in Kanyakumari and Pathanamthitu, targeting the ruling DMK in Tamil Nadu and rallying support for the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Kerala.
In his scathing critique of the DMK at a BJP rally in Kanyakumari, Modi branded the Dravidian party as the ‘enemy’ of Tamil Nadu’s future. Accusing the DMK of fostering animosity towards India’s culture and heritage, Modi rallied for a ‘huge change’ in the state’s political landscape. He vowed that the BJP’s opposition alliance would dismantle the DMK’s stronghold and usher in a new era for Tamil Nadu.
Switching focus to Kerala at an NDA rally in Pathanamthitu, Modi expressed confidence in the BJP’s prospects, declaring that the ‘lotus is going to bloom’ in the southern state. Propelling optimism, he asserted that the NDA would surpass previous electoral triumphs and ascend to power at the center in the forthcoming elections.
