During his visit to the United States, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi strongly criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s handling of the India-China border issue. Speaking at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., Rahul Gandhi accused the Prime Minister of failing to effectively address the situation in Ladakh, where he claims 4,000 square kilometers of Indian territory have been occupied by Chinese forces.

In response to a question from the media, Gandhi challenged the notion that the situation had been managed well. He asked, “If a neighbor occupies 4,000 square kilometers of your territory, how would America react? Could any president get away with saying they handled it well?” He argued that the presence of Chinese troops on Indian soil is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the government’s foreign policy.

Rahul Gandhi’s remarks come as he continues his tour in the US, engaging with various communities and leaders. His comments highlight ongoing concerns about India’s border security and the government’s approach to dealing with China. The issue remains a contentious topic in Indian politics, with the opposition frequently questioning the government’s stance.
