A chaotic scene unfolded on the Ludhiana-Jalandhar National Highway as long queues of vehicles came to a standstill due to a fallen cable obstructing the road. Efforts to remove the cable from the roadway took approximately an hour, during which commuters endured considerable inconvenience. The traffic snarl even affected ambulances, with reports of one being caught in the congestion for an extended period, though the condition of any patients inside remained unknown.
Despite the challenges, the relentless efforts of the Ladowal police for about two and a half hours eventually paid off as they successfully managed to restore traffic flow to normalcy. With their diligent work, the gridlock dissipated, and vehicles began to navigate the highway smoothly once again.
