“The world is witnessing new challenges in security,” he said. “We must work together to strengthen our defence capabilities to ensure peace and stability.”

Rajnath Singh inaugurated the 15th edition of Aero India at Yelahanka Air Force Station, Bengaluru. Considered Asia’s largest aerospace and defence exhibition, Aero India showcases cutting-edge military technology and defence innovations from around the world.

During his speech, Singh stressed the importance of a strong security environment to maintain peace.

“Peace can never be achieved in a weak security environment,” he said. “The banyan tree of peace can only stand on the roots of strength. If we want a stable global order, we must become strong together.”

Singh also spoke about India’s long-standing policy of peace and stability.

“If you look at India’s history, we have never attacked any country nor engaged in great-power conflicts,” he said. “India has always stood for peace and stability, and this is not just a statement—it is our fundamental ideal.”

The Defence Minister urged nations and industries to work together to address the uncertainties and security challenges of the modern world. He called for collaboration in defence technology and manufacturing, ensuring that nations remain prepared for emerging threats.

With Aero India 2025 underway, the event is expected to bring together top global defence leaders, manufacturers, and policymakers, shaping the future of aerospace and military technology.
