Apple India has taken a major step to expand its retail presence in the country. According to data analytics firm CRE Matrix, the company has leased a 12,616 square-foot space in Sky City Mall, Borivali East, Mumbai. The space has been rented at a minimum monthly rent of ₹17.35 lakh.

This move shows Apple’s growing interest in the Indian market, especially in metro cities like Mumbai. Currently, Apple operates two official stores in India—one in Mumbai and the other in New Delhi. The company opened its first store in Mumbai’s BKC area in April 2023, followed by the second in Delhi’s Saket.

The lease agreement was reviewed by CRE Matrix, a firm that tracks real estate data and trends. The deal signals Apple’s long-term commitment to strengthening its physical retail network in India. Sky City Mall is a prime location in the western suburbs of Mumbai, attracting a high footfall, which makes it a strategic choice for the tech giant.

With increasing demand for Apple products and growing brand loyalty in India, the new store in Borivali is expected to boost the company’s visibility and customer engagement in the region.
