Former U.S. President Donald Trump has announced a massive $15 billion defamation and libel lawsuit against The New York Times. Trump accused the newspaper of running a long campaign of lies, smears, and defamation against him, his family, and his political movement.

In his statement, Trump called The New York Times a “mouthpiece for the Radical Left Democrat Party” and criticized its endorsement of Kamala Harris, which he described as the “single largest illegal campaign contribution ever.” He further alleged that the paper engaged in decades of false reporting and malicious defamation, damaging his reputation and misleading the public.

Trump compared this lawsuit to his past legal actions against major news networks, including ABC, Disney, CBS, and Paramount, which he claimed were forced to settle over false reports. He insisted that this legal action marks the end of what he sees as intentional abuse and misinformation by the mainstream media.

The lawsuit, filed in Florida, seeks to hold The New York Times accountable and to stop what Trump describes as years of unchecked attacks. In his words, this step is part of his larger fight to “Make America Great Again.”

This legal battle is expected to gain significant attention across political and media circles.
