A major political crisis has emerged in the Aam Aadmi Party after senior leader Raghav Chadha and several Rajya Sabha MPs decided to leave the party. This sudden development has created a strong reaction across political circles, with social activist Anna Hazare openly criticizing the party’s leadership.
Speaking to journalists in Maharashtra, Anna Hazare said that such a situation would not have happened if the party had stayed true to its original path and values. He reminded that the party was born out of an anti-corruption movement and was expected to follow clean and transparent politics. According to him, the current crisis shows that the party has lost its direction.
Hazare also pointed out that in a democracy, every individual has the right to express their opinion and take decisions about their political future. He suggested that Raghav Chadha and other MPs must have faced serious internal issues or disagreements within the party, which forced them to take such a strong step. He described the situation as a sign of internal conflict and lack of coordination.

The activist clearly blamed the leadership of AAP for failing to keep its members united. He said that a strong leadership should be able to manage differences and keep the team together. If leaders start leaving in large numbers, it raises serious questions about how the party is being run.
Meanwhile, Raghav Chadha, along with other MPs, announced in a press conference that they are leaving AAP and will now work as a separate group. He even claimed that nearly two-thirds of the party’s Rajya Sabha members have parted ways. This has made the situation more serious, as such a large split is rare in a relatively young political party.
This crisis is being seen as one of the biggest challenges for AAP since its formation in 2012. Political experts believe that how the party handles this situation will decide its future. For now, the developments have created uncertainty and raised many questions about leadership, unity, and direction within the party.
