A powerful explosion took place on the Shambhu–Ambala railway line late Monday night, causing serious damage to the track near Shambhu. The blast occurred around 10 PM and disrupted train movement for several hours. Authorities quickly responded and stopped rail traffic to prevent any further risk.
According to initial reports, a section of the railway track was badly damaged. The stone slab between the tracks was shattered, and a portion of the rail line was broken due to the impact. Emergency repair work was carried out through the night, and the track was restored by Tuesday morning. Train services resumed soon after normal conditions were ensured.

During the inspection of the site, a part of a human body was recovered from the railway track, creating panic in the area. It is believed that the person died in the explosion. The body was severely damaged, and identification was reportedly made through a mobile phone found at the scene.

Forensic experts reached the location late at night and collected samples for further investigation. These samples have been sent to a laboratory to determine the exact cause and nature of the blast.
