An Indian tourist died after drowning in Nepal’s famous Phewa Lake in Pokhara. The 28-year-old man, who was a resident of Bihar, was travelling in a boat when he reportedly jumped into the lake for a swim. Shortly after entering the water, he disappeared beneath the surface, prompting an immediate rescue operation.

Rescue personnel recovered him from the lake and rushed him to a nearby hospital for treatment. Despite efforts by doctors, he could not be saved and was declared dead. Local authorities have begun the necessary legal procedures and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
