In a solemn tribute to the sacrifices made during the ongoing Kisan Andolan, farmers across the nation have announced the commencement of the Kalash Yatra, starting on March 16 from Haryana. The yatra, aimed at honoring the memory of martyred farmer Shubkaran Singh, will witness the ashes of Singh being carried across the country.

The announcement was made by prominent farmer leaders, including Sarwan Singh Pandher, Jagjit Singh Dallewal, Manjit Singh Ghamana, and Nirmal Singh Mauhri, during a press conference at the Shambhu border. The yatra will begin its journey from Haryana, with a tribute ceremony scheduled in Hisar on March 22, followed by another ceremony in Mauhra Mandi near Ambala on March 31.
