Supreme Court Grants Bail to Arvind Kejriwal in Excise Policy Case

In a significant ruling, the Supreme Court has granted bail to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the excise policy case. The decision, made unanimously by both the judges, has brought relief to the AAP leader, who was facing legal scrutiny over his government’s excise policy.

Following the court’s decision, several senior AAP leaders expressed their happiness on social media. MP Raghav Chadha and Delhi Minister Atishi were among the first to tweet about the verdict, celebrating the ruling. Raghav Chadha called it a victory for justice and truth, while Atishi also echoed the same sentiments, thanking the judiciary for the fair trial and decision.

The excise policy case has been a point of contention, with allegations of corruption and irregularities in the policy’s implementation. However, the Supreme Court’s ruling provides a major relief to Kejriwal and his party, who have been defending the policy as beneficial for Delhi’s revenue and governance. The bail has brought a sense of political relief to the AAP leadership, with many supporters also expressing their joy on various platforms.
