India has issued a health advisory after the dangerous Ebola virus started spreading in some African countries. People have been advised to avoid non-essential travel to the Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, and South Sudan until further notice. Indians already living in these areas have been asked to follow local health rules carefully and stay alert.

The warning came after global health authorities declared the situation a public health emergency. Health experts are worried because the virus can spread quickly in border areas between affected countries. Officials are closely monitoring the situation to prevent the disease from reaching other parts of the world.

Ebola is a serious viral disease that can cause high fever, weakness, bleeding, and severe health complications. It has a high death rate and spreads through direct contact with infected people, body fluids, or contaminated objects. Doctors say early detection and isolation are very important to stop further spread.
Authorities have confirmed that no Ebola cases linked to the current strain have been found in India so far. However, strict screening measures have been increased at airports and international entry points. Travelers showing symptoms such as fever or weakness may be checked and monitored by health teams.

Health officials have also warned that there is currently no fully approved vaccine or treatment available for this specific Ebola strain. People are being advised to maintain hygiene, avoid crowded high-risk areas, and seek medical help immediately if symptoms appear after international travel.
The government says precaution and awareness are the best ways to stay safe while the situation continues to develop in affected regions.
