After an arduous 20-hour ordeal, hope turned into jubilation as rescuers successfully retrieved a two-year-old child who fell into a borewell in Lachayan village, Indi taluka, Vijayapur district of Karnataka. The heart-wrenching saga ended in triumph as the child, trapped 16 feet underground, was safely brought to the surface.
Amidst the tense rescue operation, the child’s cry pierced through the darkness of the borewell, igniting a wave of relief and joy among rescuers and onlookers alike. “It was a moment of sheer elation when we heard the child’s cry,” exclaimed a member of the rescue team.
