Congress Parliamentary Party Chairperson Sonia Gandhi today announced key appointments within the party, naming new Secretaries and a Treasurer for the Parliamentary Party. In a statement issued by the Congress, it was confirmed that Ranjit Ranjan has been appointed as the Secretary of the Parliamentary Party for the Rajya Sabha. Meanwhile, MK Raghavan and Amar Singh have been appointed as Secretaries of the Parliamentary Party for the Lok Sabha.
These appointments were made following unanimous resolutions passed by the party’s general body. Sonia Gandhi, as the chairperson, approved these resolutions, solidifying the appointments.
The new appointees are expected to play crucial roles in managing parliamentary affairs and ensuring effective coordination within the party’s ranks.
